| Abstract: | A microprocessor based aynochronieer to assist the operating engineer to carryout accurate synchronising, has been developed and laboratory tested. The rate of change of phase angle, its sign and the circuits breaker closing time are taken into account to obtain final circuits closing at zero-degree phase difference. The proposed synchroniser can be modified to obtain completely automatic synchroniation and resynchronisation. |
