| Abstract: | The paper describes a pyrometer based on monitoring infrared radiations from the heated object/mass. The detector is a photodiode with extremely fast response. Compensation against variations in ambient tempreature and light and cancellation of noise are achived by icorporating another identical photodiode. The instrument is easy to use, and has a fast and liner response and a high resolution. |
